Boomers San Diego

19 September 2019

Boomers is a local San Diego staple. I grew up going here for fun and for Birthday parties. They have water bumper boats, go carts, miniature golf, carnival rides and arcade games. There's something for everyone at Boomers.

I purchased us some annual passes to Boomers online. They were running a special for $44.99/pass, when you purchase three or more passes. If your purchasing one or two passes then they are $48.99/pass. These are the online prices. The passes will cost a few dollars more if you purchase them in person.

The passes are good from now until December 31, 2020. They can be used at both the San Diego and  El Cajon locations. The discounted price is cheaper than the cost of a one day pass. I've taken my son twice this month already.

We purchased a drink cup that comes with unlimited refills for $20. We've filled the cup up twice at both visits. I would say that we've already gotten our money worth for the membership and the cup. If you want to purchase an annual pass to a fun place at a low cost, I suggest Boomers. The website does not say when the discounted passes will end so purchase as soon as possible. Hornblower Harbor Cruise

14 August 2019

Cayden has been talking about SeaAanimals all Summer. He wanted to see Sea Otters, Dolphins and Jelly Fish. I told him I would take him on a local cruise and see how many of these we could spot.

We took a two hour Harbor Cruise on the Hornblower Cruise ship. We were able to grab enough seats and a table outside on the 2nd deck of the 3 deck ship. It was hot but the view was lovely. They had two small snack bars on board that also included adult beverages. The kids were able to enjoy some snacks as well as us adults! LOL Only thing missing from this cruise was my Husband. I hope you guys enjoy our pictures!

I went to the Ticket Office on Naval Base San Diego and purchased discounted tickets. I highly suggest you check out their website and see which discounted tickets they offer to local attractions and tours.

San Diego County Fair

04 July 2019

I have not been able to attend the San Diego County Fair since 2011. That was the last time I lived in San Diego during Fair season. This visit was extra special because I was able to share it with Cayden. My Brother came to town to attend with us last weekend. This week we went to the fair with our cousins.

We were able to sample a ton of delicious food for $5 for a sample size. This deal expires at 5pm daily. We also enjoyed the rides with the unlimited ride wrist band(Thursdays Only). The wristbands are good until 8pm and they cost $38 each. I purchased our fair tickets on base. I highly suggest checking the Naval Base San Diego Ticket Office before going to any local events. They offer great discounts.

Parking was easy and free as long as you park at Torrey Pines High School. They offer a free bus ride to the fair. The bus ride took about 10 minutes to get us to the front gates of the fair. If you want to park at the fair they have parking for $17 and $27. I also know that there was a few other free places to park that offer a free shuttle as well.
